CASE #001 · SASADAILY

From “a lot of content”to “a clear identity.”

SasaDaily already had a large AI archive, daily editorial series, a beginner path, and a public DSJ test. The problem was not a lack of content. Positioning, navigation, and legacy material from different periods were competing for attention.

Production launch: 2026/08/26

VERIFIED TECHNICAL RESULT

17.2s 0.30–0.35s

/articles Production-origin TTFB. This is a measured render-path improvement, not proof of higher SEO rankings, traffic, or revenue.

THE CHALLENGE

The job was not to rebuild everything. It was to decide what should remain protected.

The project began with a public-site audit across Brand, IA, UX, SEO, and Technical layers. Legacy URLs were not deleted, SEO-sensitive article detail was not redesigned just for visual consistency, and Production DB, uploads, and DSJ runtime data were excluded from the deployment overwrite scope.

STRATEGY

Warm Editorial AI Media

SasaDaily was clarified as practical AI media for Chinese readers, centered on the belief that AI should give time back to people. The main IA now focuses on AI, AI News, AI Tools, Tutorials, AI Workflows, and AI Business Cases, while DSJ remains a Lab / Public Experiment.

BEFORE / AFTER

Seven views that show the structural change

PRODUCTION SAFETY

Major changes were validated in Local first.

Before deployment, Accepted Source SHA was locked, migration rows were checked at 73 / 73, and Production code backup and rollback were prepared. Only seven locked code files were deployed. The first attempt rolled back when Production Guard blocked an unclassified Artisan command. The guard was not weakened; the second deployment avoided Production Artisan and passed.

SEO & MULTILINGUAL

Rebranding should not sacrifice existing search assets.

Post-Deploy QA checked Home, Start Here, Articles, About, DSJ, and a representative article. Core zh-Hant, zh-Hans, and en pages returned HTTP 200; canonical, hreflang, and H1 checks passed; draft, scheduled, and random missing URLs remained 404.

WHAT WE DO NOT CLAIM

No data, no outcome claim.

The case does not yet claim growth in organic traffic, Google rankings, leads, conversion, revenue, or engagement. Those require a real post-launch observation window.

THE METHOD

Audit → Strategy → Local → QA → Production Readiness → Deploy → Evidence

Case #001 establishes a repeatable method: identify risk before deciding what to change, validate in a safe environment, deploy with a controlled scope, and preserve Before / After, SHA, QA, and measured evidence.
